Com o tema \u201cTerrit\u00f3rios e Sociedades em Rede\u201d<\/strong>, a Escola Superior de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, Administra\u00e7\u00e3o e Turismo do Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Bragan\u00e7a (EsACT-IPB) convida a participar na IV Confer\u00eancia Internacional de Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas e Ci\u00eancia de Dados<\/strong>, que se realizar\u00e1 de 21 a 23 de maio de 2026, na EsACT-IPB, em formato h\u00edbrido (Mirandela e por videoconfer\u00eancia)<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event is organised in partnership with the International Network of Research in Public Policy and Data Science and seeks to contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies that foster improved territorial and sectoral coordination, efficiency in resource management, environmental sustainability, social equity, and enhanced citizen participation in decision-making processes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The conference will bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners to debate the social, economic, environmental and territorial dimensions that shape both local and global contexts. It also aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange, highlighting the use of data and technology to support more participatory, transparent and evidence-informed decision-making processes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The submission of papers<\/strong> is open until 27 February <\/del> 22 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Here are the main goals of this Conference:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  1. To stimulate the debate around the social, economic, environmental and territorial dimensions that challenge local, regional and global contexts.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  2. To promote the exchange of experiences between various scientific fields, and focus on the use of data and technologies to support technically informed, participative, transparent and consequent decision-making processes.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    The thematic areas to be explored are, among others, the following:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      As usual, articles outside the main topic will be admitted provided they are related to the theme \u201cNetwork Territories and Societies\u201d.<\/p>\r\n
