With the theme “Territories and Societies in Network,” the School of Public Management, Communication and Tourism of the Bragança Polytechnic University (EsACT-IPB) invites submissions to the 4th Public Policy and Data Science International Conference in the city of Mirandela, between 21 and 23 May 2026, in a hybrid format.

The event is organised in partnership with the International Network of Research in Public Policy and Data Science and seeks to contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies that foster improved territorial and sectoral coordination, efficiency in resource management, environmental sustainability, social equity, and enhanced citizen participation in decision-making processes.

The conference will bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners to debate the social, economic, environmental and territorial dimensions that shape both local and global contexts. It also aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange, highlighting the use of data and technology to support more participatory, transparent and evidence-informed decision-making processes.

The submission of papers is open until 27 February 22 March 2026.
